Credit and Rights Protection

AIBioTrXiv is designed to give AI Research manuscripts and AI Idea submissions a traceable public record, clear creator credit, and transparent reuse terms.

Credit for biological ideas

Ideas alone may not receive the same legal protection as copyrighted expression. AIBioTrXiv therefore focuses on practical credit protection: a visible author record, publication date, submission history, version record, selected license, and a stable AIBioTrXiv identifier.

This creates a public reference point that can help readers identify who first posted a specific idea record on AIBioTrXiv.

Timestamped record

Each formal submission is linked to a verified member account, submission ID, payment record, submission time, author list, and version history. Published records show the credited authors and publication date.

Content fingerprint

The production architecture is prepared to store stable content fingerprints in Cloudflare D1 and uploaded files in R2. A fingerprint helps document what was submitted at a given time, even when later versions are added.

Copyright and license clarity

Authors retain responsibility for the copyright status of manuscript text, figures, images, and supporting material. Each article must display the selected Creative Commons license with a link to the license terms.

Author attestations

Submitters must confirm that they are the rightful creators or authorized submitters, that submitted figures can be used under the selected license, and that AI-assisted content has been checked by a human author.

This policy is a platform workflow description, not legal advice. Authors who need formal legal protection should consult qualified legal counsel.
