Author guidelines

AIBioTrXiv accepts AI Research articles and AI Idea records in biology-related fields. Submissions must be readable, accountable, and clear about AI use, author responsibility, rights, and uncertainty.

Submission categories

AI Research

Use this category for theoretical biology articles, hypothesis papers, model notes, computational frameworks, conceptual mechanisms, or structured scholarly arguments.

AI Idea

Use this category for biological research ideas, scientific product concepts, software concepts, educational biology tools, or early proposals that are not yet full research articles. Idea records must still be coherent, credited, and biologically plausible.

Required manuscript elements

  • Title and abstract.
  • Submission category and research area.
  • Author names and email addresses.
  • Affiliation, independent researcher status, or other author context when relevant.
  • AI-use statement.
  • Structured content: Introduction, Results or idea description, Discussion, Materials and Methods when applicable, and References.
  • Figures as JPG or PNG with legends.
  • Creative Commons license selection and rights confirmation.

Quality expectations

AIBioTrXiv has more flexibility than a conventional journal, especially for independent researchers and early ideas, but submissions must still be serious and accountable. Authors should avoid unsupported certainty, fabricated references, misleading claims, and unclear biological reasoning.

Fees and review

The US$5 PayPal fee is a submission processing and platform maintenance fee. It does not guarantee publication. AIBioTrXiv may reject content that is outside scope, clearly wrong, unsafe, inadequately documented, or legally problematic.
