Correction and Withdrawal Policy

AIBioTrXiv records may need correction, version updates, or withdrawal when problems are discovered.

Corrections

Minor factual errors, formatting problems, figure legend mistakes, citation corrections, and author metadata corrections may be handled through a corrected version or correction notice. The correction should make clear what changed and when.

Version updates

Authors may submit revised versions when the scientific content changes substantially. Version history should preserve the identity of the record and reduce confusion about which version readers are citing.

Withdrawal or unpublishing

AIBioTrXiv may withdraw or unpublish records when there is credible evidence of plagiarism, fabricated information, severe biological inaccuracy, unsafe instructions, rights infringement, fraudulent authorship, abusive use of the platform, or other serious problems.

  • Withdrawn records may retain a public notice when transparency is appropriate.
  • Unpublished records may be removed from normal browsing while retained internally for administrative documentation.
  • Authors may request withdrawal, but AIBioTrXiv may preserve minimal metadata when needed for record integrity.

Disputes

Priority, authorship, credit, rights, or comment-related disputes should be reported to AIBioTrXiv with relevant evidence. The platform may temporarily hide disputed material during review.
